Fergie: No Room For Kids Right Now

Black Eyed Peas star Fergie said she isn't in a rush to settle down and have children. The 34-year-old, whose real name is Stacy Ferguson, married actor Josh Duhamel in January this year but she said she isn't ready for kids.

She said: "Everyone tries to rush you into everything in the press these days, but for me, right now, it's about Black Eyed Peas and there's no room in my schedule to have a child. "Or even if I wanted to get pregnant, there's no way that I could perform on stage and do like my 100 walkovers and be pregnant, I would just feel too guilty." But Fergie said that she sees celebrity mums such as Gwen Stefani and Jennifer Lopez as role models as they combine work with being a mum. She said: "People are inspiring to me to see how they do it. It's kind of interesting now with the media that the way it's getting to watch these women have careers, like Jennifer Lopez has a career, but also had babies and I think it's about balance. Once I have children, the kids come first."
