Fergie jetted off to Europe last week on a promotional tour with the Black Eyed Peas, and critics were suggesting her work duties fell at a good time. Fergie has said that sometimes her work takes her outside of herself, which is probably something she finds desirable at the moment, considering the scandal currently surrounding husband Josh Duhamel's alleged affair with an Atlanta stripper.

But Fergie hopped back across the Atlantic to land in New York this past weekend, and she and Josh retreated at the four-star ultra-modern Thompson LES hotel on New York's hip Lower East Side. It's not clear whether the barely-marrieds soaked up the hotel's famed spa or hung out on the private terrace -- in fact the pair don't appear to have interacted very closely with one another, as they exited the hotel completely separately with Fergie appearing annoyed by the paparazzi.
