It's kind of weird to think about the First Lady showing off her hula-hooping skills, in a "how far have we come?" kind of way. A sophisticated and healthy Michelle Obama was seen dressed up and hula hooping on the White House grass as part of a health initiative, and you might want to consider trying out her moves!
Michelle Obama looked absolutely fabulous in a cardi and capris as she led kids through a series of events to promote good health and exercise for American kids. After I got over admiring the idyllic South Lawn of the White House (sooo beautiful), I managed to concentrate on the whole hula hoop thing. It's been a while, but it's worth giving it a shot.
Steal a hula hoop from your cousin, niece, or your kid, and try a really easy workout to help you get slimmer. Seriously, just hula hoop. You'll get better as you keep going, and you can developed simple routines to keep yourself interested. For example, try keeping the hula hoop in the same place for as long as possible--in other words, don't mess up! You can also change the rhythm as you get better, while listening to your favorite music, or use it as a break during work or home activities.
