It has been determined through a survey held by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development that the French log the highest number of hours of sleep every night, as well as the longest mealtimes. Who's up for a trip across the pond?

The OECD claims that their studies showed the French even beat out the Spanish and their legendary siesta habits, averaging an impressive nine hours of sleep per night. The Spanish "only" averaged 8.5 hours of sleep and--get this--are actually ranked number three after Americans! In addition, the French spend nearly two hours eating each day, which means that their meals are, on average, two times longer than Mexican's.

The study also showed that Italian men have almost eighty minutes of extra leisure time every day, and that "Much of the additional work of Italian women is apparently spent cleaning the house," according to the OECD. (Ouch.)
