Gabriel Aubry Asked Halle Berry For The House

Halle Berry put L.A. house up for sale, then took it off market.

We reported Friday the celeb shocker that Gabriel Aubry and Halle Berry had split. We also explained that they're working out the terms of custody and property amicably...but Halle tried to secretly sell their home a few weeks ago!

It's now clear that this Gabriel Aubry-Halle Berry split has been in the works for weeks. Not only have they consulted legal pros on how to divide time with their two-year-old daughter Nahla (omg this child is gorgeous), they also are working out how to divide their property.

Turns out Halle clandestinely put their $5.1 million mansion on the market a few weeks back, and it's not clear whether Gabriel knew what she was up to (this from Radar). Whatever went down, the 90210 zip code home is now off the market (Berry bought it in 2001 for $2.2 million). Sounds like Halle will be staying put there.

Gabriel Aubry, a lesser-known, lesser-paid, but hot-as-hell star, has asked Halle to turn over the keys to their home in Canada, it's reported. (It's not clear where this home is located, but Aubry was born in Montreal.) Sources say Halle agreed, and along with the other arrangments of their split, the couple sorted out the details amicably -- we have lots more here.
