Gabriel Aubry Finally Reacts To Halle Berry Breakup

Despite her "loser" name-calling, Aubry says he's devastated.

We read reports late Tuesday indicating that Halle Berry was known to call her boyfriend and daughter's father Gabriel Aubry a "loser," and that Aubry "couldn't take it anymore." However, Gabriel Aubry is finally speaking out to set the record straight on the dynamic between him and Halle -- and even after their split, they share a common mission.

Gabriel Aubry, 34, released a statement to Access Hollywood last Friday via his agency, Wilhelmina Models, to clarify some details about his parting ways with 43-year-old Oscar winner Halle Berry. Aubry's statement read the following: "While I will not comment on all of the wild inaccuracies being speculated about in the media, I am sad to say that Halle and I have decided together to separate at this time."

Aubry said of Halle Berry, "She is, and will forever be, one of the most special and beautiful people that I have ever known, and I am certain that we will continue to have only love and respect for one another."

And despite the split, Aubry says that he and Berry will continue to raise their two-year-old daughter, Nahla Ariela Aubry, in as stable an environment as possible: "Her happiness and well-being are the most important thing for both of us," Aubry said about Nahla. "Please respect our privacy during this very difficult time."
