We love trashy reality television

There's just something about those reality shows on E! isn't there? We were obsessed with the last few seasons of The Girls Next Door, so of course we have to watch the new season. And Leave it to the Lamas just looks like a train wreck waiting to happen. And we love that!

Why do we watch The Girls Next Door? We watch because we just can't believe these young, beautiful girls want to date an old man like Hugh Hefner. Yes, we know he has ridiculous amounts of money, but seriously? So, we watch because we're trying to figure the whole situation out. We've been watching the past few years with Holly, Bridgett, and Kendra and now we continue to watch with the 19 year old twins Karissa and Kristina Shannon and 23 year old Crystal Harris.

Leave it to the Lamas is E!'s newest reality hit. And it's probably the biggest train wreck we've seen in a long time. To the point where we almost feel bad watching because the Lamas are such a mess of a family and it's so sad for the young kids that are growing up in it. It chronicles Shayne Lamas and her attempts to bring her father Lorenzo and brother AJ back together.

But we'll get off our soapbox because we don't care how trashy this reality TV is, we'll keep watching. And clearly we're not alone because E! had huge ratings with these shows the other night. The new Girls Next Door was the highest-rated and most-watched season premiere in the show's history, with 2.4 million views. And Leave it to the Lamas premiered with almost 2 million viewers.

Way to go E! Keep bringing on the trashy reality television and we will keep watching it!
