The new decade calls for the perfect look!

It's almost New Year's Eve, which means it's time to start thinking about what you're going to wear for your big night out. After all, you want the first outfit you're wearing in the new decade to be something super special, right? Sounds like a lot of pressure, but you can find something in a snap!

One of my very favorite New Year's Eve dress destinations is Anthropologie. Their party dresses are incredibly unique and you're sure to find something that suits you; and they'll set you apart from the same old same old that everyone else is wearing. Some of the party dresses are crazy fun with busy patterns and lots of embellishments, while others are a bit simpler with their own special touches. Lots of gold details will have you excited for a sparkly New Year's night out whether it's at a big dance party or a small cocktail party.

I'm also a fan of the New Year's party dresses from Nordstrom mainly because there are so many; there's no way you can leave without finding the perfect one for you. With all kinds of brands from BCBG to Free People to Calvin Klein, there really is a dress (or 2 or 3) for everyone's taste and body type. Be careful when browsing the party dress at Nordstrom.com, though, because you'll probably end up wanting to buy dresses for the next 3 parties you have planned. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

So, there's no reason to panic if you don't have your New Year's Eve dress yet because there are plenty of choices for everyone and every event. And don't be afraid to splurge a little; after all, it is a new decade! And you have the whole rest of it to save your pennies.

I went to Nordstroms, and now I have about $1500 worth of dresses on my wish list! I can dream, can't I?

Yes! Dreaming never hurt anyone :)
