Get on top of the fashion game

Eric Daman isn't just any fashion designer. He's the costume designer behind the fashionable outfits of the Gossip Girl cast. So, when he tells us what the GG cast will be wearing in 2010, we listen. Get your hot 2010 trends here!

Eric Daman gives us a little advice on fashion. He says, "Instead of compiling your list of perfect must-haves solely from the mannequins in shop windows, see what experiences you have had that make you unique, and then incorporate them into your personal style." Great advice! But, uh, could you just tell us what's going to be hot in 2010? Yes, Eric tells us how he's going to be dressing the Gossip Girl cast in the new season.

Statement bracelets: Mixing materials and enamel pieces are going to be big.

Exposed Zippers: Eric adds them to a piece if it doesn't fit quite right.

Painted prints: Monet-like prints.

Textured tights: A nice take on the contemporary fishnet; men love them.

Gray: Will be the new black.

Structured: Minimalist and linear.

So, there you have it! The new season of Gossip Girl doesn't premiere until March, so you've got a nice headstart on the year's hottest fashions thanks to Eric Daman. Are you liking the projected trends? I'm especially loving the gray trend (almost my entire wardrobe is gray already), textured tights, and statement bracelets. Bring 2010's fashion on!
