Every Little Bit Helps

Perhaps you've already donated to Haiti via text or on one of many websites set up for emergency relief donations, or you are looking for the right place to donate some funds. If you are into fashion, there are options for you to help Haitians receive badly needed medical care and water.

Consider these options to help Haiti:

*Head over to StillerStrong, where Ben Stiller was already collecting donations for a Haitian school. Donations are currently being re-routed to emergency relief collections, and you can choose to give via text or buy one of his silly headbands that brand you a "StillerStrong" supporter. It's definitely a conversation piece, and that's a great way to encourage others to give back through his website.

*Shop at Fashion Philanthropy, which is donating 100% of profits to Haiti until "EOD Friday PST." If you were already planning on buying stuff for your wardrobe or for gifties, why not shop over there sooner than later? I am digging this Ryann Joan Top and the Alchem1st Heart Belt on their site.

*Are you a fellow fashion blogger? Join Fashion Bloggers for Haiti and help make things happen. There is a very supportive community over there dedicated to getting the word out and collecting funds in every way possible.

Have you donated to Haiti yet? Will you continue to do so? One of the most important things to remember is that one month, two months down the road, people will still be in need. I plan to donate once a month for the next six months, if not longer, in addition to the other causes I already support.

This is great! The need continues after the headlines fade. I give both my money and my time to the American Red Cross, and would encourage everybody to find an organization to help on a regular basis.

That is so cool that you volunteer! That is something I need to do on a more regular basis here in Miami. I donate more money than I do time.
