Celebrity perfumes are going strong! Halle Berry will be releasing another scent as part of her relationship with Coty. The talented Oscar-winning actress recently did an interview with WWD to talk about her new perfume (to be released in February). Will it be added to your beauty shopping list?

Halle Berry Pure Orchid will most likely reach the same heights as Halle's first scent did-- Halle by Halle Berry spent six months as one of the top women's fragrances in the country. What's Halle's secret to a great-selling scent? Stephen Mormoris, Senior V.P. of Global Marketing at Coty Beauty, says that it's Halle's "broad appeal" paired with her "beautiful and accessible" image.

We've ready many reports that celeb fragrances are "dead," but that's simply untrue, says Mormoris. Halle's perfume, like other ones by Coty, is said to deliver high-quality "juice" that won't be viewed as a cheaper alternative to the fashion-label stuff.

If the description of the scent has anything to do with it, Berry's fragrance will be a sell-out success. Pure Orchid sounds delicious, with "crisp Italian lemon, papaya nectar fizz and jungle cactus flower; a heart of Masdevallia orchid, blackberry creme concentrate and star anise, and a drydown of giant sequoia, patchouli leaf and tonka bean." I don't know if I want to smell it or eat it!

Since Pure Orchid is going to be available in 16,000 locations next month, you'll probably see it around. Will you consider buying it if you like the scent, or are you over celeb scents entirely?
