Whoa: a new report reveals that over the weekend, Halle Berry and her recent ex, Gabriel Aubry, were spotted in the Los Angeles airport together on their way to South Africa. Are the pair reuniting? Not exactly -- but we know the reason they're spending a few months together.

Forty-three-year-old Halle Berry split with her boyfriend of five years, 34-year-old Canadian model Gabriel Aubry, in April. Aubry and Berry sources revealed that the beautiful ex-couple ran into major tiffs over custody of their two-year-old daughter, Nahla, but the dispute cooled down and it's reported the pair have worked out a private custody share without the help of lawyers.

And so, as Halle Berry jetted to South Africa to begin filming for her new drama, Dark Tide, Gabriel Aubry tagged along. Also in tow was Nahla, and insiders have made it clear that the pair are continuing with their custody arrangement -- one report reveals, "Aubry ... will take over parenting duty when mom works." Berry and Aubry carried out this plan "so that Aubry wouldn't be deprived of time with his daughter." What an easy solution, suggests the report, for Aubry to "move half-way around the world with them." (It appears that Halle has been incredibly generous to Gabriel in the split, as he even asked for property of her house in Canada!)
