Heidi Klum's Guaranteed Method for Getting Her Kids to Eat Healthily
Fraulein Klum Has a Few Smart Moves Up Her (Designer) Sleeves
Remember that (plagiarized) Jessica Seinfeld cookbook that came out a few years ago that was replete with all these recipes designed to trick your kids into eating their spinach? (And kale, and brocolli?)
That cook book may have blown up in the comedian's wife face but here's a wrinkle, if you're a world famous super model, you don't even need some cockamamie plot to get your kids to eat their fruits and veggies. You just need smarts. And some Franklins. Benjamin Franklins.
Seems that Klum, 39, kicked off 2013 with a solemn promise to herself and her family. "I've never really done a real diet," the impossibly beautiful German told the Daily Mail. "[So,] my new year resolution was to start every day with a fresh juice." And, this ain't your run o' the mill Tropicana snatched from the shelf at Kroger's she's talking about. "We make an effort every morning -- we peel pineapples, apples, lemons, bananas, kiwis, ginger and berries and make delicious smoothies," she says.
Delicious to some, perhaps, but not to everyone in her brood of four kids. "Some of my kids don't love it so I decided I would pat them a dollar if they finished their drink," the "Project Runway" host confesses. "All of the money goes into their piggy banks -- they have colected a bunch of money since January 1. What's good for them is good for me as well."
Do you think it's a wise parenting choice to pay your kids to eat their "good-for-you" foods or is it just plane bribery? Chime in with your thoughts below!
