HollyNotes: This Week's Celebrity Report
Breakup Central!
And the breakups just keep on coming. Hot off the trail of Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo's big romance cancelation last week, a few more celebrity duos have called it quits.
Much to the delight of ‘tweens everywhere, Joe Jonas and Camilla Belle have ended their courtship. They claim no third party was involved and they remain good friends. I'm guessing Taylor Swift is a bit delighted by the news as well...
Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush also surprised the world with their seemingly abrupt breakup. Apparently, even Kardashian's BFF Brittny Gastineau didn't see it coming! Kardashian updated her blog on Wednesday, thanking her fans for the well wishes and support during her rough time. I don't know about you, but I'm secretly hoping for a surprise reconciliation. They make a cute couple, right?
And while this isn't really a new breakup, Hulk Hogan's divorce was finally settled this week. Thankfully, the normally volatile couple seems to be on great terms-too bad it took a divorce to become civil!

Comic Con: The Buzz and the Celebs Who Caused It
Nothing made the fans scream more at the 40th Annual Comic Con in San Diego than an appearance by the cast of the Twilight saga. When Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and the newly-buff Taylor Lautner took the stage to discuss the upcoming New Moon release, the crowd went nuts. I should definitely note, however, the fans really let loose when Lautner took off his shirt during a preview clip. Let's just say, this guy has definitely toned up.
And we haven't even gotten to the A-list stars! Johnny Depp made a surprise appearance to hype his forthcoming Alice in Wonderland remake while Megan Fox and Juno-screenwriter Diablo Cody also made the rounds promoting the upcoming thriller Jennifer's Body. (The truth is, I kinda can't wait to see that movie. There. I said it.)
Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, and director Jon Favreau were on hand for an Iron Man 2 panel. (And yes, I know all about the Scarlett/Ryan Reynolds rumors and I'm choosing to accept what their reps said: That they're not fighting.) Some of the Lost cast made an appearance including island bad boy Josh Holloway (Sawyer) and Cameron Diaz stopped by to promote her upcoming psychological thriller The Box.
So folks, the lesson is, if you want really good access to celebrities AND you love science fiction, definitely pony up for passes to Comic Con. It's Hollywood's new showground.

The Best of the Rest
- Katherine Jackson will receive full custody of Michael Jackson's children and Debbie Rowe will continue to get spousal support from MJ's estate. All parties seemed pleased with final decision.
- Gossip Girl star Taylor Momson tells Teen Vogue that she'd "eat a boy my age alive" if she dated them. If she really, truly is only 16 years old, than I agree with her!
- Bacherlorette Jillian gives her final rose (and heart!) to Chicago computer consultant Ed on the season finale. I like them and am wondering if they should give Trista and Ryan Sutter a call for some post-show advice...
- Jude Law is going to be a dad again. He's having a fourth child with an unidentified woman from a past relationship. Congrats Jude!
- Jon Gosselin spent the week with his kids after a whirlwind adventure including stops in Saint-Tropez, Manhattan and the Hamptons. I think I'd need some beauty rest after that kind of trip too. Also, all those rumors about Kate moving to Maryland? False. She plans to stay close to the kids.
- Mischa Barton is heading back to work on her CW show The Beautiful Life after a brief hospitalization.
