Hugh Jackman and Daniel Craig Together on Broadway
Hugh Jackman and Daniel Craig are preparing to star in a Broadway play about a pair of Chicago cops. X-Men: Wolverine star Jackman and James Bond hunk Craig will co-star together for the first time in A Steady Rain.
Jackman, 40, is returning to Broadway after his critically acclaimed performance in The Boy From Oz. However, while Craig, 41, has appeared in London stage productions, A Steady Rain will be his Broadway debut. The pair are the latest in an emerging trend of film actors turning up on Broadway. Geoffrey Rush, Julia Roberts, Susan Sarandon and James Gandolfini are just a few of the others to make the leap. A Steady Rain was penned by Chicago playwright Keith Huff. It was first produced off-Broadway in 2006 and tells the story of two Chicago cops and their accounts of a few days that changed their lives.
