Hugh Jackman's Son Thinks He's a 'Showoff'
The kid's got claws.
Hugh Jackman may play the tough guy on screen, but that doesn't mean he's the man of the house. The son of Wolverine, Oscar Jackman, 9, actually thinks his dad is a bit of a showoff.
Maybe Oscar has just seen his pop do one too many claw swipes and Broadway dance numbers, because the kid appears to be getting tired of his antics. "My son just thinks I'm a showoff, basically," said Jackman.
Jackman was at the opening ceremony for Climate Week in Manhattan when he chatted with People Magazine, who named him "Sexiest Man of the Year," for a bit about his views on the environment and the family.
Apparently, son Oscar is the house energy regulator. "[He doesn't] sit back and go, 'Oh whatever Dad says, I'll turn off the light.' He demands it!" said Jackman.
The actor then got a bit more serious as he talked about his experiences travelling and working with local coffee farmers in Ethiopia. One farmer in particular, named Du Cali, influenced his beliefs on fair-trade products.
.
"I will never, ever, ever drink a cup of non-fair-trade coffee," Jackman said. "Every time I see that coffee, no matter how much I want it, I know that that's hurting Du Cali, and I worked with him for three hours shoveling manure."
