'Inglorious Basterds' Leads Weekend Movies
Grab the popcorn.
There's all kinds of fun at theaters this weekend. Brad Pitt gets deadly in Inglorious Basterds, Alexis Bledel starts real life after school in Post Grad and Robert Rodriguez's new adventure, Shorts, let's the kids out to play.
If you've ever wanted to be part of a Nazi-hunting death squad, Quentin Tarantino's new flick, Inglorious Basterds, may be just the one for you. Brad Pitt stars as Aldo Raine, a Lieutenant who organizes a group of Jewish soldiers to hunt down members of the Third Reich.
Or maybe you prefer your cinema experience to have a little less bloodshed. In that case, check out Post Grad, a comedy about a recent graduate (Alexis Bledel) who is forced to make drastic changes when her dreams appear to fall apart.
Also opening this week is the latest kid-adventure-tale from Spykids director Robert Rodriguez. A "be careful what you wish for" story, Shorts follows neighborhood kid Toe Thompson and his friends as they discover a magic rock that grants wishes. Soon the entire block is alive with crocodiles and talking boogers.
So whether you're into Nazis, twenty-something comedies or goofy booger magic, there's bound to be something at the theaters for you this weekend.
