We've heard the rumors Kim Kardashian has been looking at wedding rings. And now Kim's rep confirmed that she's engaged to boyfriend and football star Reggie Bush. But Kim says it's not true. What's the deal?

Thank God for blogs. It seems like that's where celebrities do all their cleaning up of news-gone-wrong lately. So Keeping Up With the Kardashians star Kim Kardashian took to her blog to clear up the rumors. She says, "I am not engaged!!! My new publicist was talking with Star Magazine earlier today and accidently referred to Reggie as my fiance so they posted the news on their website! There have been so many rumors flying around recently about Reggie and I being engaged that she assumed we were."

What kind of publicist just assumes her client is engaged because of rumors going around? Isn't it a publicists job to sort through the rumors and only reveal what the celeb wants them to? We say Kim needs to get rid of her publicist. And we wonder if maybe Kim is spreading these rumors herself to give Reggie Bush a little hint hint.

Kim assures we'll be the first to know when she gets engaged, after her family of course. And hopefully after her publicist.
