Is Prince Of Persia The Next Pirates of the Caribbean?

Jerry Bruckheimer said he has "no idea" if the movie will be the new Pirates of the Caribbean. Jerry, 63, is producing the new film which stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Gemma Arterton and is scheduled for release in May next year.

Asked if he hopes Prince of Persia: The Sands Of Time will become the new Pirates Of The Caribbean: The Curse Of The Black Pearl, he said: "I have no idea!" He added: "It's an exciting, romantic adventure – a combination of reality, fantasy and romance. So hopefully it'll capture the imagination of an audience." Bruckheimer also produced the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy as well as other films such as Bad Boys, Armageddon and National Treasure.
