Is Robert Pattinson a Bad Tipper?

We all know how expensive things can be in New York City. And we all know what a pain it is to have to pay a tip on such a big bill. But hopefully we all do it anyway. It appears that Twilight star Robert Pattinson doesn't.

When Robert Pattinson went out to dinner at Il Cantinori in New York City the other night, he and his friends racked up quite the bill. The total came to $350 and when it came time to pay, Robert left the tip. A tip of $50. Now, $50 might not sound like a bad tip, but when you consider the $350 bill, $50 is less than 15%.

Everyone has different philosophies about tipping, but generally you dont give less than 15% unless the service is really horrible. Especially if you're someone like Robert Pattinson making some pretty big bucks on the Twilight movies. And it doesn't sound like the service was bad as the restaurant gave Robert and his friends a complimentary bottle of Prosecco and said that Robert seemed to really enjoy his Caprese salad and veal Milanese.

The waiter said the tip was OK and that Robert Pattinson was "very nice and friendly." Maybe Robert just assumes it should be an honor to serve him. We hope he's not turning into a diva!
