It's Over! The Jon and Kate Plus 8 Series Finale

A bittersweet ending

It's been a long-time coming and we feel like we've been jerked around quite a bit. Will the show go on or will it end? Well, it seems like Jon Gosselin finally got his way and the series has at last come to an end. Last night's finale was touching; but we're still not sure whether to feel relieved the family can finally have some peace or saddened by the show's end.

It really is going to be strange not seeing the Gosselin kids grow up anymore. Who knows how old they might be the next time we see them. Now that the show is over, we really do have a feeling the family will be fading into television history soon, so long as Jon Gosselin doesn't pull any more stupid stunts.

What did you think of the Jon and Kate Plus 8 series finale? Kate is certainly sad about the end of the show and cried through part of her interview. She says, "Our show has provided the opportunities for us to travel and do and see that we wouldn't otherwise have had... It was really working for us and I just feel it ended so suddenly. I feel like it's been taken from us, from me and the kids."

And Jon puts to bed all those rumors that Jon and Kate will get back together: "...it's unfortunate our marriage failed, but our family shouldn't fail. We're going to strive to do better and be the best parents we can, whether we're married or not.... And we're definitely not going to be married ever again."

Kate also claims the kids don't know about Jon Gosselin's relationship with Hailey Glassman and says, "But I really just think that relationship is a situation that's just a symptom of the real issue, so...I don't envision a future there involving my kids at all," basically saying she doesn't think the relationship between the two is going to work out.

So, now that Jon and Kate Plus 8 is over, what television family will start acting crazy next? We have a feeling one of those Duggar kids is going to start acting out soon!
