James Brown's Body is Missing from its Grave!

James Brown may have died in 2006, but his body is still on the move. The iconic singer's daughter, LaRhonda Pettit, claims his remains are not in their proper place.

Brown's body was first put into a crypt after the soul master passed away on Christmas Day of 2006, then was kept at a private house while a public mausoleum was built.

But now Pettit says the body has been stolen to prevent an autopsy that would show, as she claims, that there was foul play in his death.

"My daddy's body has disappeared. I have no clue where it was taken, but I need to know where," Pettit said.

"I'm convinced his death was suspicious and I want the people responsible brought to justice. The only way to do that is to exhume his body and have an autopsy. I cannot understand why one was never conducted."'

Pettit was confirmed as a love child of Brown's (one of 12!) through DNA tests in 2007, and ever since the family has squabbled over inheritance and estate rights (and apparently even the location of his body).

Still, Brown's family has said the body is still in its proper place.
