Jim Carrey Tweets About His Father-in-Law Status

Jim Carrey took to Twitter to reveal that his daughter tied the knot. This funny man is now a father-in-law, and he's been gushing with pride about his daughter Jane's nuptials. How sweet! Twice-divorced Jim should give them some tips on what not to do.

The comedian's 21-year-old daughter just tied the knot, and pretty soon, Jim's going to be a grandpa as well! Jane is pregnant with her first child with her now-husband Alex Santana, so it looks like this is just the beginning of the excitement in the Carrey household.

"my Jane is a married women [sic]. days ago her and me new son in law alex got hitched," Jim wrote on his Twitter page on Wednesday. "the day was simply perfect... lots of love there."

Following up his Happy Tweets, Jim also released a statement to PEOPLE in which he commented "It was a beautiful day. Simple and sweet. I wish them everything that love has given us."

Arg, that is too cute. I think that Jim Carrey will make an awesome grandfather; he's so silly that he's going to be making that kid laugh all the time (most of the time?)! People should stop the fuss about his weight gain for the 3 Stooges and concentrate on what a cool dad he is.
