Jennifer Aniston Rocks Out On 30 Rock

Liz Lemon vs Jennifer Aniston? Oh hell yes we're tuning in.

Rachel, where have you been?

It's been a while since we've seen Jennifer Aniston on the tube. We'd take a bullet for Tina Fey, but our Thursday nights just haven't been the same.

Then we heard the exciting news that Aniston is currently filming scenes for a favorite sitcom 30 Rock in NYC, and will be appearing in either the first or second episode of the season (premieres 10/30).

No word on whether she'll be playing herself or a fictional character, but we know she's not the first Friend to appear on 30 Rock--David Schwimmer guest-starred last season. Cool sidenote: the show received seven Emmy nominations for guest-stars, so maybe Jen's hoping to piggy-back on that success trend.

We think this is a smart career move--Jen's always been successful with TV sitcom acting. (Maybe the big-screen just isn't her thing?) We'll tune in, and we wish her the best. Child deserves a break.
