Jennifer Aniston Says She's Not Faking Gerard Butler Romance
Aniston says staged romance rumors are "insulting."
Whatever's going on between Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler is the real thing. All this from Aniston as she slams the notion that her relationship with her Bounty Hunter co-star is only for the cameras.
Gerard Butler told reporters at The Bounty Hunter's London premiere Thursday night that he and Jennifer Aniston are just friends. And here's the thing: she agrees. Aniston's quoted in a British women's magazine saying this about her link to Gerard Butler: "[The press] think that if you do a movie together and you get [along] really well you must be dating," Aniston reportedly said. "I think it's a filler, it's fodder, it fills magazines, it has nothing backing it at all."
Except for the shots of the pair looking super-schmoozy-cozy on the red carpet (link below). But we digress...Aniston continued, saying, "You know there's all this stuff about calculating...that me and Gerry are in this fake relationship for the press of our movie or the selling of it. It's just so insulting," Aniston said, then added, "but again it's the story."
Sort of. The all-hands, googly-eyed, I-love-my-Gerry thing has may have the public a little confused, Jen. Forgive us. An American angel and a British babe (he's Scottish, and that's British) hang out off-set, holiday together in Mexico, hang out with each other's family and trim each other's bush (Gerard's words). If we're confused, we can't even imagine how you must feel.
