Jennifer Aniston Would Give Up Career for Love
Jennifer Aniston gets candid with Nicole Kidman.
The tables were turned on Jennifer Aniston recently when she took the interviewer's seat to chat with Nicole Kidman for "Harper's Bazaar." During the talk, Aniston opened up -- very unexpectedly -- to reveal what she regrets about the life decisions she's made.
Nicole Kidman's been promoting her new film, "Rabbit Hole," a story of a husband and wife who try to cope together after their child dies. In the "Harper's Bazaar" interview in which Jennifer Aniston posed some love-and-life questions relevant to Kidman's film, Jen suddenly put down the cards to open up about an aspect of her life that she's typically very private about.

It started, reports Hollywood Life, when Nicole asked Jennifer which she'd choose if she had to: "a great love that lasts a lifetime, or an amazing career where you go down in history."
Aniston gave a real answer: "I know what I would choose, that's a no-brainer," she said. "I would choose the love of my life."
Amazingly, at press time 92 percent of Hollywood Life poll participants agreed with Jennifer Aniston: they'd choose romance over career. But could this fairytale attitude be contributing to the recent statistic that suggests more than half of American women are single for the first time in history?

Ladies, maybe it's time we drop the Aniston complex and stop seeking the perfect man. If we just do our best in our lives and work, isn't it possible that a great -- not perfect, but great -- partner could show up? What's with this old-school attitude that it's either-or? It's 2011: you can have it all, but maybe it won't arrive unless you have done everything possible -- spiritually, emotionally, physically, financially -- to be ready for it.
