Jennifer Aniston heads to prison for movie Goree Girls
Jennifer Aniston is heading to prison for her new role in movie Goree Girls. Aniston, 40, will headline the movie, which will be directed by Michael Sucsy, and it is based around the true story of a female country band in a Texas prison during the 1940s.
The film is scheduled to start filming in January and will be financed by Overnight Prods. Aniston is set to produce the film along with her Echo Films partner Kristin Hahn and Overnight's Rich Schwartz and Aaron Kaufman. The film follows the story of the eight women who created one of the first all-female country and western bands - they became popular with the public and were eventually pardoned. The band were forgotten until an article was written in 2003 in Texas Monthly.
