Jennifer Aniston to Launch Fragrance

Jennifer's fragrance will be about freedom.

Jennifer Aniston will be releasing a celebrity fragrance, which doesn't have a name yet, according to her rep who confirmed her news. If we're lucky, then Jennifer's scent will be along the lines of SJP's Lovely, and nowhere near Beyonce's Heat fiasco.

Most celebrity perfumes are, if not totally gross, questionably marketed to the general public. Very few of us buy a celeb fragrance just because a celeb's name is on it, and in recent years, many of us think twice before buying a celeb scent for the same reason.

But I digress: Jennifer Aniston is a good choice, because she has effortless style and goes on fabulous vacations as well. Guess what? At least one of her favorite pastimes (vacationing) will be worked into her new fragrance!

According to the tabs (via Wonderwall), Jennifer has been working for two years on the perfume, but her rep only just confirmed it. Jen has to name the scent, and she's not planning on going for something like "Aniston," claims her rep.

An insider added their own details, claiming that the perfume will be about Jen's free-spirited life.

"It's all about capturing the idea of romance and freedom at any age," the source explained, "but it's hard to do that in just one word."

Do you think that Jen's perfume will sell well? I will get it, along with Tilda Swinton's.... but those are the only two on my list right now. The next celeb-designed thing I buy will probably be a Jennifer Aniston-inspired workout ensemble, too. Why hasn't she done that yet? Celebitchy agrees.
