Is It Right to Pressure Your Man Into Marriage?

Jennifer Love Hewitt just might think so! After a rough breakup with Ross McCall last year, she's currently dating Jamie Kennedy. She claims her man makes her happier than ever, but she also commented recently that he better have plans for marriage soon.

Out-of-context or not, Jennifer's commentary that "By this time next year, if we're not planning something, then there's a situation," gives us pause. Is it right to pressure your guy into marriage with a timeline?

Take a look at whether or not your guy is displaying these "ready to commit" qualities:

1. He wants to chill at home-- his bar days are over.

2. He adores children and talks about being a dad--and soon, not some day.

3. He's a committed partner, and marrying you won't overhaul your lifestyle.

4. He's a hard worker and watches out for you. Financial independence is key!

I wonder if Jamie Kennedy fits the bill for JLH? We hope so, for Jennifer Love Hewitt's sake!
