Now I get why the cast of Jersey Shore was taking so long to sign their contracts. They wanted money and they wanted a lot of it. And it sounds like they got their issues. According to Entertainment Weekly, the "core group" of the cast will be making $100,000 per episode while filming the fourth season in Italy. Considering there are usually 13 episodes in a season, that's well, a lot of money for these kids.
Does that kind of disgust you a little bit? Well, it's our own fault for watching the show and keeping ratings alive. I just wonder how long they'll stay up.
But according to E! News, the cast still isn't quite ready to go to Italy and it could be another two to three weeks before they are. A show insider says, "Production wasn't ready to go... They didn't have a house. They were going to shoot in one city, and then that didn't work out, so now they're scouting another city."
.
Do you think Italian resident are doing everything they can to keep the Jersey Shore cast away? Well, it could be working. Sources are saying the Italian trip could turn into a vacation for the cast. Which means they'd be filming only part of the season in Italy, before returning to their Seaside Heights home on the Shore.
