Jesse James Called Sandra Bullock to Beat Kat Von D Rumors

Sandra Bullock believes they're just friends.

We've all heard the news about Jesse James' hot date last weekend with tattooed TV star Kat Von D, and ex-wife Sandra Bullock heard it too. Fortunately Sandra's update came from Jesse, who hustled to call her when reports got loose that he and Kat were behaving "affectionately" in Las Vegas. Sources have revealed what Jesse wanted Sandra to know.

"OK!" Magazine quoted a Jesse James source Thursday, saying, "Jesse called [Sandra] to assure her there is no romance between [him] and Kat or anyone else for that matter."

After Sandra's conversation with Jesse, she walked away believing that he was telling the truth -- says the source, "Sandy says Jesse and Kat are friends, they're talking about a possible TLC project." As for the romance rumors, the insider reports, "[Sandra] was unaware of any hand-holding, but says it's not truly her business anymore so she is focused on her son."

Indeed reports suggest that Sandra Bullock and Jesse James speak everyday, but Sandra works hard to keep the conversations revolving around the children and not their broken marriage. Besides, Sandra has told "People" that she and Jesse have made the clear decision to move on with their lives -- and this source says that Bullock is "happy" and "so in love with her child."
