Jesse James Goes Public, Is "Happy" with Kat Von D

Jesse James must be a sad and lonely man. He linked up with TV tattoo artist Kat Von D just weeks after his divorce from Sandra Bullock turned final, and this past Thursday, a mere couple weeks after denying his new romance, Jesse and Kat appeared on a red carpet together. Kat Von D has told reporters she's in love with Jesse James...what are these two thinking?!

Celebuzz reported Friday about Kat Von D and Jesse James' appearance together at Kat's Thursday night gallery opening: "The inked-up couple held hands, granted interviews and posed for pictures together...and then there was the gushing. Kat, 28, told 'People' that their romance is pretty serious (at least for her.)" Von D also told reporters that she doesn't just give her heart away -- she's only had nine boyfriends (only?!) and has to feel pretty serious about a guy before she'll hook up with him. When one interviewer asked her if Jesse is "The One," Von D boldly answered, "I believe he is...yeah."

Jesse agreed, putting his torrid recent past behind him: "It came out the hard way and that's sad ... But [now] I'm happy."

Both Jesse James and Kat Von D smiled for the cameras. When asked what she finds most attractive about Jesse, Kat replied, "[He's sexy because] of how intelligent and sensitive he is. And of course tattoos are always sexy."
