Jessica Simpson's New Five-Carat Diamond Ring

Jessica Simpson has picked up a new $10,000 five-carat ring, just weeks after she was dumped the day before her 29th birthday by boyfriend Tony Romo. The Dukes Of Hazzard star was recently spotted at a party for Russian pop singer An-Ya, who is signed to her dad Joe Simpson's record label.

Jessica Simpson reportedly came away from the bash with the ring from the party's host, jewellery designer Pascal Mouawad's Black & White Diamond Collection. An onlooker said: "If you didn't already know Jessica went through a break-up, you really would have no way of telling from the way she was behaving at the event. She really seemed happy." The Texas-born singer and actress has refused to participate in the media storm surrounding her break-up with Romo, but her father said: "She's good. She's doing very good."
