Jimmy Fallon To Host SNL: As Predicted By Alec Baldwin
Fallon Fulfills His Propehcy
Christmas may be another 123 days away but here’s a gift to start getting excited for now. Jimmy Fallon will be returning to Saturday Night Live on December 17.
Returning to his roots -- but this time as a host -- Fallon will present the sketch comedy show, alongside musical guest for the night, Michael Buble.

"I've never forgotten where I came from," Fallon said in a press release. "That's why I'm so incredibly honored to be hosting the 'Saturday Night Times' program December 17th on HGTV."
Before Fallon moved on to his own show, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, he was a cast member on SNL for six years where he gained notariety and legions of fans as the co-host Weekend Update with fellow hilarious-person, Tina Fey.

Speaking about the news on Twitter, Fallon commented "I'm incredibly honored to be heading back to 8H where it all started. And by 'it' I mean Will Ferrell's awesome movie career."
The 37th series of SNL will premiere on September 24, hosted by show veteran Alec Baldwin, with musical guests Radiohead. Bridesmaids and Emmy-nominated Mike & Molly star Melissa McCarthy will then headline the following episode with musical guests Lady Antebellum.
The funny thing is -- yes, there’s funny before the series even airs -- Baldwin, back in 1998, actually prophesized that a more famous Fallon would be hosting the show in the year 2011. A spooky coincidence or an elaborate SNL master plan?
