Dynasty Diva Claims Building Broke Her Daughter's Eye Socket

Luxury L.A. condo building Sierra Towers has been a private, humble abode for the likes of A-listers including Elton John, Sidney Poitier and Matthew Perry. But according to former Dynasty Diva Joan Collins, the building could be a potential deathtrap.

Collins, 79, is suing the building's management over an incident that occurred in January, when her 27 year-old daughter, Katyana Kass - who was visiting her mother at the time - collapsed in the building's pool. The suspected cause: hypothermia, which could possibly suggest the temperature in the pool was too cold for recreational swimming.

To make matters worse, a security guard attempted to escort Kass back to her unit, where Kass promptly fainted, striking her eye against a wall. As a result, Kass reportedly suffered a broken orbital bone and needed for metal plates inserted. She also claims to still suffer from debilitating headaches and pain.

Collins is now suing for all medical and legal bills and damages.

It remains to be seen whether the case will go to trial or the matter will be settled out of court. But we're thinking it's more than likely Joan and her daughter are already looking into moving companies.
