Joe Jonas Looks Up to Mick Jagger
Joe Jonas – who along with his brothers has vowed to stay a virgin until he marries – has admitted to looking up to ageing lothario Mick Jagger. The 19-year-old says he has picked up tips on how to work a stage by observing the legendary rocker and Bono from U2.
Joe tells Rolling Stone magazine: "I was preoccupied with trying to play instruments so much, because we wanted people to know that we were a real band. "[My brothers] can just pick up an instrument and play. "But, over time, I realised, look at Mick Jagger, look at Bono: They play instruments here and there but it's their thing to run around onstage. "For a while, I was still trying to figure that out: 'How do you make it look cool?' I know it sounds so cliché to say: 'Be yourself', but it's true."
