Joel Madden's Relaxed While Other Parents Sue
He Says He's Waiting for the Sex of the Baby
Joel Madden recently spoke to PEOPLE about feeling a lot more relaxed about Nicole Richie's second pregnancy, because the stress level is a lot lower now that they know what to expect. The rocker dad also said that they're waiting to learn the sex of the baby, which they did before their daughter Harlow was born.
While Joel Madden seems to be find waiting quite enjoyable, did you know that some young parents recently sued Acu-Gen Biolab Inc., who make the Baby Gender Mentor test to determine the sex of your baby? Six New York mothers recently filed suit against the company after the test results came out wrong.
The tests claim to be 99.9% accurate (although they do have plenty of "ifs" and "buts" in the fine print) and cost $275. While I can imagine being pretty peeved at splashing out on a nursery and having to re-color code, is a sonogram at 20 weeks truly not soon enough?!
It sounds like these ladies need to talk to Joel and Nicole.
