John Mayer Likes Gay Clubs

Stop questioning him!

We love a man who's comfortable with his sexuality. And John Mayer certainly is. There's much speculation over whether or not he may in fact be gay himsef, but shouldn't a straight man be allowed to go out and have fun at a gay bar without his sexual orientation being completely questioned?

John Mayer wants to hang out at gay bars and he doesn't really care what you say about it. And we don't really blame him. But after John Mayer was spotted at a gay bar last week, a rumor started about a man kissing John and John not doing anything to stop it. John Mayer wants to clear that rumor up, and he does by saying:

"Rumor check: Went to a gay bar in Palm Springs, yes. Had a blast. Danced my face off. Someone there planted a kiss on me? No. I don't like the story painting gays as unable to control themselves. Found the crowd even more respectful than in a straight club. You know who the flamboyant crowd is? Straight, drunk girls. They're like a bunch of little Charles Nelson Reilly's"

That definitely makes sense to us! Especially as a hot celebrity, we imagine drunk girls at bars go absolutely wild over John Mayer and probably don't leave him alone. Maybe he can have a bit more peace and quiet at a gay bar.

Gosh, it must be hard being such a pretty (and talented) boy, though. People should be able to hang out wherever they want and with whomever they want without being questioned. We don't think John Mayer even needed to give an explanation, but we love the one he did give!
