Jon and Kate Gosselin Together in the Kitchen

Together but apart?

On last night's episode of Jon and Kate Plus 8, the 100th episode, Jon and Kate Gosselin were actually in the same state. The same house! They even spent a significant time in the same kitchen together. But they still sat on the couch alone.

If this episode had occurred in one of the earlier seasons, you probably wouldn't have thought anything was wrong. Jon and Kate Gosselin are together cooking with their kids and Emeril. And Kate is getting her jabs in at Jon and trying to show the world she's better than him. Normal, right?

Well, yes it is normal for Kate Gosselin. But now that we know so much about their marital troubles, we cringe every time Kate makes an underhand comment at Jon. Like when she says, "Jon do you know where the oven is?" because clearly she believes he would be lost in the kitchen without her. Or when she says, "This is the most I've seen him in the kitchen in my life."

Though Jon and Kate were together in the kitchen, they did their couch interviews separately. Kate said, "At this point, whoever lands in the interview chair, does the interview it looks like. Don't ask any questions. It's called rolling with life." Where will they be next episode? We're guessing in different states again.
