Joshua Jackson fans, rejoice! Vampire Diaries fans, rejoice! Are you a fan of both Joshua Jackson and Vampire Diaries? You could really be in luck. Joshua Jackson has mentioned interest in guest starring on the hit show, Vampire Diaries. How amazing would that be?

Lots of ladies (and men!) know and love Joshua Jackson from his days as Pacey Witter on Dawson's Creek. And many of us were thrilled to see him return to the small-screen in the current hit show, Fringe. So, how would you feel about seeing him on another very popular show? Vampire Diaries, perhaps?
It could happen! It turns out 2 of the writers for Dawson's Creek are also writers for Vampire Diaries. And when MTV News asked Josh about the rumors, he responded, "You know we actually did talk about it because the other person who writes the show with him is a woman named Julie Plec, who is also an old Dawson's Creek-er and she had mentioned it somewhere in the press and I think was kind of kidding, but I think that would be hilarious."
We think so too! And when they asked him if he was being serious, he replied, "Yeah if they wanted, I think it would hilariously funny." He even has his own funny little idea for the show, though he's not sure if everyone would go for it: Maybe me spoiling it by having a good laugh isn't exactly the direction they want to go in... They're doing a Vampire Diaries, Fringe, Dawson's Creek crossover? That would be amazing actually! There we go! That's the rumor we'll start!"

OK, so maybe that's just a rumor, but we're hoping a Joshua Jackson appearance on Vampire Diaries isn't just a rumor. Of course, we're not sure if that show could handle any more hotness!
