Justin Timberlake May Star in the Facebook Movie

At first we thought the Facebook movie was just a rumor, but it's really happening; The Social Network is almost set to begin filming. And who better to star in it than musician Justin Timberlake? We love it already.

Yup, Justin Timberlake is being considered for a role in David Fincher's Facebook movie, The Social Network. The movie is going to begin filming in Boston and Cambridge in October, so they must be close to getting the final casting choices set.

And it looks like one of those actors will be Justin Timberlake! He's said to be playing Napster co-founder Sean Parker. How awesome that a popular musician will be playing the co-founder of Napster! How many N'Sync songs did you download off Napster back in the day? We're just saying.

Also set to be starring in the Facebook movie are Jesse Eisenberg as Mark Zuckerberg and Andrew Garfield as Eduardo Saverin, the Facebook co-founder who allegedly betrayed Mark Zuckerberg. All three of these actors were present for a table-read with David Fincher and casting director Laray Mayfield, so we're hoping these speculations are true though it's being reported that no contracts have been signed.

While, calling it the Facebook movie makes it sound kind of ridiculous, we actually think this will be a really fabulous movie about the founding of Facebook and social media as we know it.
