'30 Rock,' 'SNL' may both want Justin Timberlake

With the Emmys just past and Saturday Night Live's season premier this coming weekend, NBC's prize comedy entities are super-hot topics.

We've heard buzz that SNL wants Robert Pattinson to host an episode this season...and if that's not enough reason to get excited, Justin Timberlake's also on their radar. An SNL regular who's good friends with Andy Samberg, Justin said backstage at the Emmys that he always has love for the SNL gang. There's rumor he and Samberg are producing another of their famous (infamous?) digital shorts for the new season. (And you thought nothing could top "Mother Lover.")

Plus, 30 Rock may want Justin to appear. It's reported the stars were checking him out at the Emmys, and a writer said to him, "Hey Justin, we gotta get you on '30 Rock!'" Justin told them to talk to his agent, but then said that '30 Rock' is his favorite show on TV.

Is there a Justin Timberlake cameo in the works? Our fingers are crossed.
