K-Fed Is Designing For The Kids
He wants to dress your baby.
You know what they say, "when you can't rap, design clothes." Or something like that. K-Fed is taking it to the playground in an attempt to bring "fashion" to the kiddies. Do we really want toddlers rolling up to pre-school in baggy jeans and wife-beaters? Yes, according to the K-Man.
Currently, he's hitting the tradeshow floor in Vegas (as well as the strip club) in order to "hunt for inspiration."
Really? You have to go all the way to Vegas for inspiration? Dude, you have at least TWO KIDS. Swing by kindergarten or something. You'll see plenty of Keds and Janie and Jack duds to give you a months worth of material.
But maybe I'm wrong. Says Kev, "It’s a really tough business, I’m trying to take it seriously and make a quality product for kids but not have parents pay like $500 or something ridiculous for a pair of jeans."
Ok, last time I checked Baby Gap runs a little less than $500. But then again it's been a while since I've shopped for a toddler.
