Mr. West debuted his new collection of footwear at Men's Fashion Week in Paris. Yawn. The LV collaboration was anything but exciting. Sneakers? Really? From someone who routinely wears a pocket square, I expected more.

The monochromatic kicks are frill-less (translation, boring) and feature a flap in the back to tuck pants into (guys, this previously existed. It's called a tailor).

“The inspiration came from a jacket with a huge collar in the movie ‘Dune,’ ” West says. “Most sneakers focus on the tongue, so I wanted to do something different.”

By different did you mean something exactly the same but more expensive? Thought so.

The LV/Kanye collabo hits stores in June.
