Kate Gosselin Linked to Discovery Channel Gunman

James Lee threatened by American television phenomenon.

No wonder Kate Gosselin keeps her bodyguard so close. Gosselin does indeed have some serious anti-fans, and James Lee, who was killed on the premises of the Discovery Channel's offices this past week, is said to have loathed Gosselin so horribly that he planned to take out the people who put her on the air.

Friday a report hit the Internet suggesting that James Jay Lee, the man who stormed the Discovery Channel's offices this past Wednesday claiming to have been strapped with bombs, hated America's most famous mom so desperately that he planned to murder the people who made her famous. One report stated, "Lee had said he hated 'Kate Plus 8' and '19 Kids and Counting' because he felt they promoted population growth."

James Lee had a website (that, by Friday, appeared to have crashed or been shut down) that is said to have stated the following: "All programs on Discovery Health-TLC must stop encouraging the birth of any more parasitic human infants and the false heroics behind those actions ... In those programs' places, programs encouraging human sterilization and infertility must be pushed. All former pro-birth programs must now push in the direction of stopping human birth, not encouraging it."

Lee is also said to have hated Discovery's "Planet Green," as he reported felt that the show promoted capitalism rather than environmental preservation and action.

At press time, Kate Gosselin had not commented on the news surrounding James Lee. Wednesday a SWAT team shot Lee after determining that he was a serious risk to parties inside the Discovery Channel's offices in Silver Springs, Md.
