Kate Gosselin Renews Nursing Registration

Nurse Kate Gosselin clearly concerned for television career.

Early the other day Kate Gosselin's viewer Q&A episode aired on TLC, she'd submitted a document completely unrelated to her TV career or even her divorce with Jon Gosselin to the Pennsylvania Department of State.

Kate Gosselin renewed her nursing registration with the State of Pennsylvania on Monday, triggering speculation that perhaps the future of her onscreen career is not as promising as Kate's been hoping. On the TLC interview that aired Monday Kate revealed that she'd love to appear in movies and that appearing on TV is so normal to her these days that she totally sees herself pressing on with it. The renewal of her nursing registration, however, suggests that perhaps Kate Gosselin doesn't see as many opportunities on the television horizon as she's been hinting at.

Okay, wait: Kate Gosselin the nurse? Well, remember Jon's stint as a computer technician? Yes, how easy they've made it for us to forget, the Gosselins were once normal people. Kate has her registered nursing license after completing nursing school at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center in Reading, Pennsylvania. It's reported she worked in the labor and delivery unit before birthing eight babies of her own.
