Kate Gosselin Wants a Man to Whip Kids Into Shape

Why not a nice guy?

Jon Gosselin certainly didn't come off as a nice husband. And also? He seemed like a bit of a pushover when it came to taking care of the kids. And now that Kate is a single mom, she wants to find a new boyfriend. A man who can whip her kids into shape. Um. Why wouldn't she just look for a nice guy who will treat them kindly?

If Kate Gosselin were our mother, we'd be running for the hills right about now. Now that she's a single lady, it makes sense that she might be looking for love. But it sounds like Kate has a more important characteristic in the man she's looking for. She tells Us Weekly she wants  "a tough guy, like a cop, to whip my kids into shape." Um? Kids, run now!

We get that Kate wants someone who can be a bit of a better disciplinarian than ex-husband Jon Gosselin. She probably wants someone who will team up with her. But should that really be her ideal characteristic in a man? Whatever happened to a nice, kind man you can fall in love with? And newsflash, Kate: It's really, really bad for a man to come into your life and start disciplining your children! Worst idea ever.

She also comments that she wants "someone who can handle my situation." Argh! Imagine your mom describing you and your sisters and brothers as her "situation"? You have 8 beautiful, healthy children, Kate. Stop complaining. She's constantly acting like her life is the worst thing ever.
