Kate Gosselin's Fake Tan Criticized
Kate's aging herself
Honestly, I'm starting to feel bad for Kate Gosselin. She's under constant scrutiny and she tries way too hard, but a part of me sympathizes with her. She's been warped by showbiz, and that's a fact... she's even sporting a Snooki-like tan in recent paparazzi shots.
Us got a bunch of dermatologists and other experts together to talk about Kate's recent foray into orange spray tans. The consensus? She's aging herself horribly, and she is sending a bad message about tanning as well.

Let's watch as Kate gets torn apart by the experts. I hope she skips Us Weekly today!
Expert 1, Fabiola Trujillo, owner of Sobe Tan by Fabiola in Miami Beach: "When you go spray tan on your face too dark, it ages you. She looks super old here. She looks 40-something! When you go darker on your face, your wrinkles look definitely more pronounced."

Expert 2, Board-certified dermatologist Joel Schlessinger: "There's an addiction in tanning. Definitely, it's amazing what a spray tan can do: It makes you look younger, all your flaws on your skin go away, you look slimmer... But you've got to be careful and not overdo it. My advice would be to drop it, cold turkey!"
.
At least there was one person willing to support Kate's orange glow: the retail manager of Bliss Spas, Jordan Stein! "Kate is not a tanorexic -- her intention was to get a safe, natural looking tan. The results were less than perfect," he said. "She is trying to promote the only healthy, tanning alternative."
Is Kate's tan really that terrible? Do you think she's a "waste of internet space," as one commenter pointed out? I wish she'd spend some time out of limelight and concentrating on her kids, but who knows when that will happen?
