Oh Kate, didn't you look in the mirror this morning?
.

Dear Kate, please fire your hairdresser.

When you're famous, you really don't have a whole lot of excuses for looking bad. Especially for having bad haircuts. So why is Kate Gosselin's hair such a mess?

Sure, she's a mom of 8 and probably doesn't have a whole lot of time to sit in a salon, but Kate Gosselin of the reality show Jon and Kate Plus 8 needs some hair help. Fast.

I'm not exactly sure what you call her hairstyle, but maybe we can just call it The Gosselin from now on? And when we go to our stylist we can just ask for it instead of describing it: That hairstyle that's spikey on top, on the right, and in the back and then a long swoop of bangs that take over the entire left side of my face. Oh, and add some chunky blonde streaks in there too. Cute, right?

I don't want to be mean, but maybe Kate's horrendous hairstyle is partly what's causing her marriage problems with Jon? I heard that she makes $75,000 for each show the family does, so how does she not have money to pay a stylist? Or doesn't anyone love her enough to tell her it's just not working out? I think that once she fixes her hair, her whole life will turn around.

.

Here are some more pics of Kate with the family. Enjoy!

Some quick calculations based on your article: 1/Estimated income from the TV show: $1,950,000 2/Estimated cost per child from birth to 18, including college (not including NICU births or multiples specifically according to babycenter.com): $418,702 3/Based on this information the estimated cost for Kate Gosselin from birth to 18, including college is: $3,349,616 I have no problem allowing for additional income due to other projects but as I looked, I didn't find it to be as quick to find as the other information. Even if allowed an additional $2M per year for two more years, I think you can see my point. This family has peaked and people aren't going to watch much longer. The family is better off than some and worse off than others. Give her a break. I think you can see the difference and how many years it will take, just like many Americans (although far more privaledged than some others), a few years for her and her family to create financial stability longterm. So, I think picking apart her hair is appalling.
