Kate Gosselin's Lawyer Says Jon Can't Stop Show
Jon and Kate signed a contract together, agreeing show was fine for family.
Jon Gosselin doesn't have any power to halt the filming of Kate Plus 8, according to a statement from Kate's lawyer Mark Momjian.
On the Today Show on Friday, Momjian made the following statement: "[Jon Gosselin and Kate Gosselin] entered into an agreement once the divorce action was filed that allowed each parent -- who had physical custody of the children -- to make the filming decisions when the children were with them." Momjian added that Jon signed off on Kate making the decisions for the kids when they're under her care.
And, as Kate said earlier this week, the show must go on. Momjian said she plans to abide by her contract: "She'd like to continue with the show. She loves doing the show."
